Hello fellow Pixel Pony Lovers!

First off before my questions, I would love to thank Ammit for the outstanding ideas she has for this game. It keeps getting better and better! My words cannot describe how much this game means to me personally. It has kept me going through very rough times. The community is beyond amazing! I love you guys!

I apologize for my incorrect terminology. So please bear with me and I will be happy to be corrected!

So my confusion... The MysterySigil Rank Special is only for the Tiger Eye Gene correct? But I though the gene can be found in random creates too?
Next... I thought Tiger Eve was expressed via being recessive only. So does this mean it has to be like chestnut? Both genes arent activated/not turned on? So Homozygous?

It isn't available on random creates yet, only the Mystery Sigil and the The Accomplishments of Like-Minded People. From my understanding it doesn't show when heterozygous except to some extent with cream and champagne

There are two variants TE1 and TE2. When a horse has two variant copies they present with yellow eyes, but the gene interacts with other genes that dilute eye color as well. As some of you have already noticed genes like champ, cream etc can make tiger eye show an effect when hom.

I think the last word is supposed to be het not hom

Basically, you need two copies of the gene to show usually. Recessive doesn't mean chestnut, although chestnut is recessive to the extension gene (e is overshadowed by E). Like how non-grey is recessive to grey. You can't have anything dominant to the recessive on the horse, otherwise the recessive gene won't show.

The exceptions to this is that the gene interacts with champagne and cream when het, which gives it enough "strength" to overpower the dominant normal eye colours.

Then I think there's also "partial dominance", but that has more to do with the dun genes I feel ;)

Yep, so the Tiger Eye gene combined with the cream gene is giving him those interesting eyes!

The new dynamic eyes have allowed us to add a new gene in the game. Tiger eye is a real gene recently genotyped in the Paso Fino horse breed. Right now the only way to get Tiger Eye is from the ALMP and Sigil herd helpers. Tiger eye dilutes the eye color of horses without changing the coat color. There are two variants TE1 and TE2. As some of you have already noticed genes like champ, cream etc can make tiger eye show an effect when hom.

Tiger Eye will be available on normal creates and the random gene sale and is not a limited gene. There will be more information in a separate post when it fully launches.

So Mysterious Sigil ONLY effects the eye color? And nothing else?

From the looks of it, yes. It's got a new gene that gives a different eye colour. If that doesn't float your boat, you can always sell your Sigil horses, they're going like hot cakes now! Mostly because they're new
