I mostly name my foundies after songs, lyrics, or whatever book or movie I had going when I created them, but sometimes, well, the name just happens.

Pretty dun mare made me happy, then I saw her PT.

I go by bloodlines for lined horses, but they can still get kind of snarky too, like these.


II Canuter Valve Queen
For those scratching their heads, her sire is Canute, her dam was Greyfire Pearl Queen, and a canuter valve was what popped into my mind when I was naming her. It's an old joke mostly told by mechanics when they tell someone they need a new canuter valve or blinker fluid, both completely useless and fictional, and yeah. I was watching Dukes Of Hazzard at the time, and Cooter told that joke more than once. :D
