How does one decide to keep? I know I want to keep the flashy fillies. The fillies that are not from my draft mares should be superior mares than their dams. I know time will only tell.
-
Free test, obviously.
If you're breeding for a specific color or body type, cull by those.
If you want, consistency testing can help cut down numbers but remember to turn of auto-spay on your favorites.
If you can afford it, PT testing and only keeping fillies that PT over a certain point can cut it down more. This does not mean those fillies under that cut off aren't still of good quality though! -
My problem is right now they all passed free testing. I think they are all consistent.

Just did the consistent test and I am thinking about selling all of the inconsistent foals. One if them is a spayed draft mare that I really like. To me she is gorgeous. Just not sure if I want to keep an inconsistent horses.
