Breeding Season 70 started out with a blast of chill! I had two eggs from the very lovely Cherry Chinchilla (owned by @HunterUnderSaddleGirl) that I could hardly wait to “hatch.” I created embryos at the end of March and have been (not so) patiently waiting for 4 AM to arrive, so I could turn these embryos into foals. Not only were the foals absolutely gorgeous chinchillas, but they both passed BA, too!

That first chinchilla is absolutely wonderful! I love the contrast of her pale coat and dark boots!

Some of my foals were bust today, but I did manage this lovely colt. He didn’t paper amazingly, but does have the bone and height I am hoping to increase in my herd, as well as some new (to me) ice genes I am excited to play with :)

I also got this sweet filly. I was hoping for an ice or two on her, but she papered nicely, and has the bone and height increase I am hoping for! I can’t wait to see her all grown up.

Glad that you are happy with the foals! Cherry wasn't that good to me. I require 2G A, and 2G Red. Well she gave me a 2G B, and a 2G yellow! Agh!

HunterUnderSaddleGirl, your foals are stunners! I love the snowflake mask on the buckskin. I hope Cherry gives you better papers next time.
