I'd probably save your HB's and just leave it. You're probably going to end up with a bunch of mares who have it anyway it's it's pretty harmless. It's also great if you breed KP as you can get in some pretty awesome patterns.

Word to the wise though, if you mix in white 10, 8, and sabino 1 & 2, you're going to end up with some white ponies. They make me chuckle when they pop up but not everyone likes them.

If there is one thing I regret it is leaving W20 on a couple of my original foundation sires.
Now I always try to replace it with something else and I am eventually going to work towards culling it from my mares.
So I, personally, would get rid of it if I could afford to.

W20 does have some uses though. It may over exaggerate some other kit genes to the point of washing out a horse completely but it can do cool things to others,

It can accentuate W3 at lower white factors where it is usually subdued:

It also seems to be popular for people who breed for KP.

I have a love/hate relationship with W20. It all depends on the White Factor for me honestly, at the lower White Factors it’s fine when it mixes in, but I really do not like when the White Factor hits large or extensive and then I have white horses. I breed KP and louder white spotting and sabino patterns, so I finally culled it from the foundation line. I was getting white second gen foals and I was not thrilled. But it just depends on what you are going for.

If you avoid any white gene when possible, then chances are you can breed out the w20 and save the gmt
