For kp to express you need to kit genes.
So if you don’t want to do any extra gmt work a ‘hom w20, hom tobiano, hom roan) will already have the 2 kit genes so no more work will need to be done.

Alternatively you can create any foundation that best suits your goals and gmt to make the horse however you wish :)

What other goals do you have apart from hom kp? Colour etc.

Any of the rank specials that has the colours you like would be a good choice too, as they are all at least perfect foundation quality. Some have two KIT genes too

I have a lot of rank specials. If you have one in mind I can have a check if I have any that are gmtable I can gift you :)

The only thing I would caution you about with Wet Time is his splash and Frame. Splash and Frame increase Kit Lethality—they make Kit pattern combinations more risky. As long as you’re sticking to the really safe Kit patterns (W20, roan, Tobiano) that shouldn’t be a problem, but as soon as you start mixing any of the other White Spotting or Sabino patterns in, you’ve increased your risks of lethal foals. You are also increasing the chance you’ll have foals that are mostly white and therefore don’t show off your Kit cloud or any of the lovely pearl base color you’ve spent money/game cash on.

So....if I was looking for a KP stud I would be avoiding Splash...I’m actually trying to cull Splash out of my KP herd right now and it’s really hard to do once you let it in. I personally like a bit of Frame in my herd because I love how it interacts with the Kit patterns, especially the White Spotting patterns, but I know it’s an extra risk to take. I personally would rather have the Frame than the Splash. Obviously go with your personal preference!

i personally prefer roan to tobiano but it all depends on what you want to breed for! Pick whatever you like best

just as a reference, KP wont show up that well with tobiano.

here is my stud on server one that is hom kp, you wouldnt be able to tell he even has it if it wasnt for the tattoos and breeder club.

Kp is fine with tobiano, most of my Kp's are tobiano and they still get the clouds of white! If WF is none though Kp clouds don't show as well, but I usually re-roll a few times to get it to show
