I have a small handful, most of them are from my stud Heimdall who has thrown 4 brindle babies for me so far and his son Odin has thrown me one brindle baby so far. lol and I know that everyone will say there is no genetic marker for it and it's all luck, so I guess I'm just really lucky... :> Link to all the brindle lovelies here.

I have one girl from this season, and one boy from two months ago that I love.

I'm really sad about the first guy.. He papered C, and is literally everything I want. He has brindle, is hom mushroom, hom pearl, het kp, and het machiato. I really wanna give him a boost, but I'm kinda at a loss..

I am loving all the gorgeous brindles!!!

I found a couple of my het chin mares languishing in a holding pasture and one of them graced me with this hom chin superior to sire boy!

Depending on how he tests against his half siblings he will either be getting a kit gene shuffle or a sex change. (I am currently leaning towards the sex change.)

Well, this season was a bit of a bust.
Four brindles but all were snipped by SBA.
I didn't even notice them during initial sorting.

I have a total of 190 brindles! 162 of which are foundations. Of the 190 total, 152 are intact.

This post was mostly intended to see the brindle babies born each season but I love seeing everyone's brindles no matter the age or whether they are foundation or not.

But.... if we are making comparisons...... ;)

Due to my BBA project I am currently sitting at 301 foundation brindles, most of them black based mares, and 14 of which are heavily GMTed studs which are the cornerstone of my breeding projects on this account.
I have bred 11 non foundation brindles so far, 7 of which are intact.

I didn't breed this boy, but I'm so surprised at how much I like him (he was a BB+ create). I am not one to appreciate the bays as much, but his coloring is so nice :)
