We did it!

    The girls arrived at 11:11am and 11:13am! Both are doing great currently, both are on cpaps, and in incubators. Hazel just needs a little extra help so shes on a special cpap machine. Hazel weighs 4 pounds 2 ounces and is 17 inches long! Sophia is 3 pounds 5 ounces and is 15 inches long! So far they've gotten fussy while I was down there and it took mama to calm them down and I love it! I haven't gotten to hold them yet, we think maybe tomorrow when they start their feeds me and my boyfriend will be able to do skin to skin :) they actually moved my time up for the c-section today because it was supposed to be at 12:30 but someone else had an emergancy which opened a slot. I had a few minor breakdowns, but we made it through and I have another scar to add to the mix =)) I really want to share pictures of these little ladies but I have no clue how to :(

    Oh my gosh, those pictures made me cry (happy tears!) and they aren't even my babies. I've been following your updates, and I was worried that something would go wrong and either you or one of your girls would get hurt; im so glad that's not the case! :x

    MariaChapinFarm3 I cried when I heard her! So far we are good :) the Doctor I had was amazing and the NICU teams were phenomenal! I think we are out of the woods, the girls are feisty which I love! Hazel came into this world eyes wide open, looking around and letting the world know she was unhappy about being disturbed. Both girls cried and were breathing on their own upon birth and just need the cpaps for a little bit!

    Thank you everyone! Sorry I haven't been super active, but I'm sure you get it! These little girls are amazing. The smaller of the two girls is already breathing room air with just help from a cpap to keep her lungs open. My bigger girl is getting help breathing, shes getting 30 breaths a minute via machine which she doesnt like at all, shes pulled it off already! She was giving the nurse a hard time getting it on but mommy has the magic touch :) we haven't held them yet, they arent stable enough yet
