I'm going to try a new sales process here! I'm going to post the links to the barns that have my sales horses in them, and leave them up for a day. You can go through them and see if there is anything you want, and if the prices fit your budget. While you're doing that, I will put all the sale horses up in my chat room. Then (hopefully on Thursday, Jan 3rd at 6pm game time) I will add anyone who wants to buy horses to my chat room. Sort of like a Black Friday sale, and this is the line for the door!

If you see a horse(s) you want to buy, post your stable name and ID number on this thread and I will add people in the order received. (Example ConfluenceFarms - 1998. That way I can just copy and past ID numbers!)

I do ask that you not go overboard, and limit yourself to no more than 5 horses at a time, and that, when you're done, you click the x by your name in the chat room Member List to remove yourself from the room. You can ask to be added a second time if you want.

There are about 20 broodmares in the first barn, all chestnut or liver, priced by AFPT (Average Foal Performance Test scores), various generations and papers.

In the second barn there are 80 Rank Specials, most 5 years old and younger.

No horses in either barn are priced over 9000 Hbs.

The separate barns are for window shopping only. All the horses from both barns are mixed together in my chat room.

Let me know what you think about selling horses this way!

Just got back from urgent care for a very annoying strained back muscle. (It was ticked off, apparently, because I am walking differently since my hip replacement in November. Grrrr). Anyhow, I still PLAN to start adding people to the chat room at 6pm game time, but I also just took new pills that might decide I should sleep for several hours. We'll see which wins out! Just FYI!

I thought it was a good idea. Better chance of getting what you want than if they were just listed for public sale, and also no chance of being outbid. Mind, I was also online when I was added to the chat, so I was able to get in a get the horse I wanted. If she had sold to someone else first, I might not have been as happy....but that's a risk I'd have had with public sales or auctions, too.

Though, I'm considering buying the old ones to just let them sit in my barns, and get used, if possible (per their age), until age takes them galloping through the skies.

I liked it! Another idea is to just leave everyone in there and only put up a handful of horses at a time. But keep the 5 horses per week rule or something.

I try to keep my chat room as empty as possible. I monitor all the Fantasy gene chats, as well as the Beginners barn, on both servers, so I don't need another one to keep checking in on! :P
