In the new year I am thinking of merging my 2 big accounts into 1 but I am not sure about it - it's nice to keep things separate sometimes. If you have merged how do you feel about it now?
If I merged the 2 big ones it will be a massive barn. I will have to define my breeding goals a lot but I suspect SBA on Chilli's horses will mean I lose loads to showing which is no bad thing.
I have a smaller barn who just bootstraps which is really easy to run and I would like to keep her separate.
What do people think? Any advice welcome. I am not doing this until Jan at the very earliest.
Do licences merge as well?
(PS to Chilli's SS - don't worry I'll love anything you buy for her too!)

I merged mine and glad that I did. My lines are all chaos anyways so didn’t make much of a difference that way. And nice to not have to log out. Licenses do transfer

Lol - mine are chaos but Chilli's are so organised - perhaps she can rub off a bit on me. She has some lovely horses - her hom DP liver white spottings would look great on my browns :D

I really like playing mix and match with my lines anyways. So I just put acryonyms at the front of the name so its organized alphabetically. Then mix whatever I want. My black macchiato boy just turned 3? Well then great, he can the silver black mares, and the grullo mares, and the macchiato mares, on and he's hom sooty so he can get the DP mares. Why not let him have the classic champagne mares too? ETC. So keeping the lines separate has never been too big of an issue with me.

I merged one of mine. It had a fantasy Gene, so I talked to Ammit first to make sure it transferred, then merged. It's nice having all the closed genes in one account instead of two.

I merged 2 of my past accounts onto this one, and it was a great idea! I love having all my hbs in one place.

This is actually my second biggest account, and I'm stashing IVs, but I haven't decided if I want the year of basic or to merge my Hollowbetheink to this one. The difference is only 10 right now, and they all keep growing.

I have merged all of mine and even though it is chaotic I am glad I did.

I'll save up for those IVs to merge - so probably not doing this until the end of this season :)

Well I took the plunge and ChilliFireFarm is no more - she is now part of Dinascar - lots to sort out :)

Agh to bad we can't merge our Hj1 and HJ2 accounts because I would SO do that lol

Just did the same thing last night. CherryCola is now part of Haltanny. Only just finished sorting out my foundation mares, got over 150 extras i don't have use for in any of my reorganized lines. :-)) Good luck!
