I am thinking of putting S+ on one of my horses for SS but can't remember what it looks like on horses.

I think it's gorgeous! I've been trying to breed it into my lines for years, it's only recently I could afford a stallion with it on him :)

S+ is one of my new addictions and I started a new account just to play with it in livers, bays, and browns.
On this account I absolutely LOVE it in black based silver as well and feel more people need it in their lives/barns:

I think the bonus to Sooty + while it is gorgeous is that it doesn’t change the horses color so much to make them unusable.

For example if I only want to breed blanket Appaloosas, a horse with W8 or Frame isn’t useful to me, but a horse with Sooty+ won’t throw off what I’m trying to do.

I will honestly say that I never really had any intention of having a herd of S+....but then I got a fantastic colt for SS last year that was hom S+. I now have 462 horses with S+ and 146 are hom. Unfortunately you can't see it so well on most of them because they're black or hom pearl (or both!).

But I'm definitely now pro S+ on my herd! It has such great coloring.
