You can also use the name. I tend to (try to) tag all my sale/get rid of horses with $ in their name so I can add the "name not like" field to my search. You could also do something like A$ or Auc$ to denote specifically auction. Of course, it's an extra step, but if you remember to do each one as you come to it, it's not too bad.

As a side note, I've lately been wishing for the ability to only search horses that have been bred, instead of all unbred and bred or only unbred, and wishing to be able to search for PATN1, so hopefully eventually we'll get some sort of search request post like we did several months back and we'll be able to ask for things like that.
