Hopefull Hygge Holiday- A December Advent
Joyous winter Holidays to everyone! This December we have a whole new advent and advent tack pack. Starting tomorrow the 1st of December the advent page will open up. Each day you will get a new advent event, and a new tack item unlocked for our VERY cozy winter holidays this year.

Nd1 is already for sale, and the new ice 15 gene will be out in a few days. Both of these will be permanent sales through out December.

Furthermore there will be 3 random gene sales every day. That's right gene switch up will be every single day in December!

What is Hygge? "Hygge is a Danish and Norwegian word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment"

COOL! My family used to celebrate our Norwegian roots at Christmas every year. We've all spread out now, but this weekend my brother and sister in law will be here for our 'traditional' dinner. While I don't think it actually happens in Scandinavia our family version involves a rolled up meat "sausage" called rule polsa, and a, sort of, 'potato crepe/tortilla' called lefsa. I spent yesterday making rule polsa and Chex Mix, and my brother is bringing lefsa he made! PERFECT timing, Ammit!

How do you pronounce Hygge?

As I am of Norwegian descent on my dad's side, and used to speak fluent Norwegian, when I saw the word "Hygge", I immediately heard it in my head. pronounced Hiuggeh (Better to go to Google translate and enter it there - it's a very unique word). I love Rullepolse and Pinnekjøtt , Gjetost and Lefsa ♥♥, but was never a fan of the dreaded lutefisk. I lived in Norway for a year (School year 1986-87), and miss it still.

When I saw the pattern for "Hopeful Hygge Hug" I became pretty excited.
Klemme is the Norwegian word for Hug, pluralized, it's Klemmer

Xceptional & DoubleMash, So cool! I went to college in Lindsborg, Kansas, a town called Little Sweden USA. VERY Scandinavian, and they used to try and feed us lutefisk, so we all know the yuckiness that is lutefisk!

It was a Tack Pack that allowed us to open up a new tack item every day. Last year it included a dinosaur skating rink, ice skates for our horses, the Gift cat with a pile of presents for the lower right corner and other nifty delights. I can't wait to see what Ammit has up her sleeve for us this year.

I'm so excited! I just have 3 genes (besides Ice 15) left to get to have all the closed genes! I really hope to see Ice 3, 11, and 12 :D If i can make it work financially, i would love to get more Ice 7. All my lower gen stock are passing out of the game :'(
