Welcome, Anna Lee. This is a very complex game, so not everything is easy to do without a guide to explain how it works. It's also being updated pretty regularly, so a complete guide to the game would have to be updated every month or so, not an easy task.

We're a friendly group and always willing to help new players find their way around the game, so please ask any specific questions that you might have. You might have to wait a bit for an answer, but most questions get answered in less than 24 hours, sometimes by more than one person, each with their own way of explaining things.

We certainly don't expect new players to understand the game right away. Another source of answers would be to click on the Help me out category in the right margin. Maybe someone else has already wondered about something that is puzzling you, and you can find answers there.
