2 of my bootstrapped foals this year are on the era 0 pt leaderboard with a pt of 13.6, and this is after Dark Star put her foals up. Sorry Dark Star, but I am over the moon right now. Guys, Bootstrapping works!

Thanks guys! I don't know what will happen over the month, but having something I finally breed up there is as exciting as when I first had a horrible up on leaderboard. :)

Don’t be sorry! Be happy! I have always said I don’t want to sweep the leaderboards! I want you guys pushing me to get better! This was my whole motivation for increasing awareness of bootstrapping. This is wonderful, congrats!

And for those of you wondering if it’s just a show horse thing, I have a boot strapped mare on the Era 0 mare leaderboards, 4 generations from foundation, and I didn’t even use my best studs in her line. It works, it really really works, and there are dozens of really nice studs up for pennies to help people further their bootstrapped lines, so don’t feel like you have to have a ton of HB’s or a nice stud of your own to get started. The Bootstrapped chat room is always happy to help out new folks.
