I scroll to the bottom of the upgrade with real money page and there are no genes listed.

Also I have never purchased a gene. I think I am getting the Nexus. How many copies do I need to purchase?

Well, I haven't bought one either, at least not with the new system (yet!), but I am pretty sure you need to buy 2 copies...one for each allele.

To get Nexus, make sure you pick the horse you'd like to modify and then:

Select copy 1 on the left It will take you to the PayPal link. Click continue shopping and scroll back to the Nexus genes. Your horse should still be selected. Click copy two on the right. It will again take you to the PayPal link.

It will show you that you are purchasing a copy of Nexus copy 1 for 7.50 and below that it will list the horses ID number.

Then it will show you copy 2 for 7.50 and below that the horses ID number.

(Make sure you look at the ID number if the horse you pick when you go to add the gene so you can confirm you're adding it to the correct horse since it doesn't tell you your horse's name in PayPal.)

I hope this helps explain how to do it. I'll try to help explain better if I can.

Unless you sleep for 15 hours a day and plan to do so until the next switch up you will have more than ample time to buy it. Since clearly, we are trying to fix the issue. ;)

Also just a word of caution -- check your PayPal cart before you actually purchase. Lately I've been having previous purchases stick in the cart. I almost bought Mushroom twice for the same horses last month!

I assume this is an issue with PayPal and my browser, so I haven't bugged Ammit about it. :) Just remember to double check in case it happens to you too!

@GeneverGinger That's been regular for me, too, since a couple months ago. The previous purchase always stays in the cart, and I have to hit remove for whatever it is. I, too, assumed it was a paypal/browser thing (I'm on Safari) and so haven't posted about it.
