Im wondering what this boy would be likely to pass onto his offspring. He's the best horse from a few seasons ago. He was pasture bred and the email said he was the best in the pasture. Would he pass on silver? Is there any chance his offspring will have Kit M?

He is het silver so there is a 50% chance he would pass it on...As far as KitM he missed that gene, so no, his offspring would never have it.

No KitM - he doesn’t have it, so he can’t pass it on. Silver, on the other hand, there’s a 50/50 chance, because he’s het silver - he has one copy but not both.

Here’s his genetic code: eE Ata CC dd gg ff SSsty PP Zz WF: Minimal

Z is silver. z is not-silver. Kit m would look like that - kitm - if he had it. As it stands, he has no kit genes, so instead of just saying KitKit, the game just hides it.
He also has a 50/50 chance to pass on black (E), brown (At), and sooty (Ssty). He’s guaranteed to pass on CC (so no cream and no pearl coming from him), dd (no dun either), gg (no grey), ff (yes flaxen), and PP (pangere).

The advantage of his genetic code being pretty plain - you can pair him with any mare at all and the pairing should be safe! That means you can find lots of flashy mares to put him with if that’s something you like. :)

Thanks guys! This is his first season, but all the mares I have are of some relation to him, and I know they're fake horses but I try not to purposely breed siblings or parents to offspring. That's why for his first season in offering him and just wanted to see what he would potentially pass. Genes are still kind of a mystery to me. I just play to create pretty pixel ponies with good stats lol

Lol, no worries! The genetics take a bit to catch onto. And same - while there’s no penalty for inbreeding, I try not to either. :P
