Because of the change in European Union law we will be changing our policy to only allow registrations from players age 16 and older. Current players who are younger than 16 will be allowed to stay, but no new registrations will be allowed. This policy change will become active September 1st. Thank you for your understanding as we adapt to a changing global legal landscape. :x

I'm actually confused... I don't mind this change, no... But what is it, and why is it preventing people under 16 from joining? Again, I don't mind it, I'm just wondering why it's going on and what all this is/means. :-/ :-?? :-? Just a curious brain over here. Lol

@SpryOfJune I imagine it is because there is a forum, child protection is a big issue in Europe atm.

How do you enforce an age rule anyway though?

They probably ask your age as you join, and if your birth year doesn't pop up, they can't join, and they state on the join page you can't join if you're under a certain age. Kinda like Facebook does. But they can't technically enforce it, if the person puts an incorrect year.

But they usually give it away one way or another, and we find out.

Aw well I’m glad I joined before this rule was set because I am only 15 :)
I support any and all changes!
And also just wanted to say I am seriously addicted to this game and it has helped so much with color possibilities for real foals that I plan on breeding!

Oh wait does it only count for Europeans or for everyone?

Just curious because I live in the US too but I thought it counted for anyone that joined after August including people from other countries :P
