Smoking The Silver

So, I am having a hell of a week at work.

I won't go into it, it is just part of the job I do and the nature of the industry that I work in. Nothing cataclysmic is going on but it has just been a long, tiring week full of frustration and stress and a bit more BS than is the norm.

Nursery rhymes and reading were a huge part of my childhood and upbringing. In turn I became a very poetic soul. Unfortunately I have allowed life to tear me away from my writing. I have not picked up a pen in years.

Even so, in times of stress I have this thing where, when my mind starts getting super hectic, I have a tendency to unconsciously start reciting old nursery rhymes and poems in my head.
It is as if it is some sort of "auto de-stress" for my psyche.

Because I have allowed this game (and you wonderful people) to take over my life the rhymes and such that pop into my head are usually equine themed.
This one has been the most prevalent.

The little girl above is the closest thing I have in my barn to "Dapple Grey" as I don't have many ponies or greys (especially boys!) and I felt like using one of my silver blacks would be cheating. LOL!

So please! If you feel like amusing me, show me your "Dapple Grey"!

I kinda want to do a "thing" with this so maybe in a few days I will post another equine related nursery rhyme (or poem) and see what everyone’s' vision of the horses in them are.
Maybe I will turn it into a game with some sort of prize! I don't have much... maybe straws from my boys?
