My Wet n Wild stud looks like that:

Is he just usual homozygous sooty wild bay (I've heard that chocolate isn't the right color for sooty wild bay, so maybe this one is right?) or DP? I'm a bit confused as DP bays can't be registered in the Liver Breeders Club.

Today he sired several bay and chestnut foals and none of them got such a dark color.

Yes, he looks more normal. Just a dark sooty bay. I haven't checked his foals, but maybe the mares have not had sooty or not passed it so the foals are not as dark, and there are a bit of a variance in the bays coloring.

This is the "chocolate bay" coloring that is not right.

I know how does it look, I have some horses with chocolate bay coats. I'm so curious when it will be fixed...

That would be when Ammit has the time, lol. Myself, I like the color and hope it stays, though I doubt it will.

I'm pretty sure he's DP. The dark chocolate color is still in the game. If you breed him to Ssty Ssty chestnut mares you have the chance to get liver foals.

For contrast, below are my DP DP S S wild bay stallion and my new Wet N Wild mare that is Ssty Ssty but not DP, and a Red King foal that I know is DP dp SSty SSty.
