I have a question about chinchilla. It says it’s a closed gene. But it’s not in the gene panel part? I know it comes in the name if homozygous. But heterozygous it doesn’t and also doesn’t show.
So how do we know if a horse is heterozygous in further generations? Dont want to be accidentally selling any to people I’m not supposed to.

Ammit is going to add it to the gene test, but hasn't had a chance yet. It does show up if you've bought the gene on your stable home page in HaJ1, so it should be there for this game. I just ordered my chinchilla today, so my horse hasn't had the gene added. Chinchilla does show up grayed out for the moment on my home page here as well.

I believe that Ammit has said that the game will not let you sell a closed gene to someone without a license, and someone without a license will not be able to bid on an intact closed gene horse in the auction.

Ooh ok cool thankyou. Good to know it will come up. I only just thought as my guy is het so if he had goals I wouldn’t know which was which for when some get listed for sale. I thought I read it would be in the gene test but thought I was confused when it hasn’t shown.

Edit: I checked to see if I own the gene license and I do, but still no warp? It's been two days since I placed the order. I'm noticing other people have the warp gene on their horses. Is there a glitch or something.

go for the one that expresses at one copy, or buy a single copy of Chinchilla for a mare so you can get Hom straws. :D

Im not sure if my guy was accidently missed. Paid for het wrong warp for this guy.. the same day as my het chinchilla.. chinchilla was done a few days before but still waiting for het wrong warp on this fella..

If you click on the purchase page it shows you all the horses you own you can add it too. Lots of people do use yearlings though.

Just ordered one copy for this guy! Sadly I spent too much on other genes to make him hom- but those other genes were worth it. My favorite thing is mixing genes anyway so I'll have fun with his 3g hom chin offspring :P
