    I would like to make this guy Satin and I have two GMT's so I was wondering if I gave each of his parents Sa would that make him Satin? If I've got to do the sa I'll probably pass lol

    You would have to make him sasa to express, or change one to Sasa or saSa to make him het.

    Horses need to be 4 and under with no living foals to be gmt'd,
    You can't gmt a horse you don't own either :)

    It seems as if you've bred him and he's the right age... but it seems that neither one of his parents carry satin so actually he won't be able to even receive a GMT change for satin. You'd have to do that to a foundation stud or a foal with parent with the satin gene.

    If you're interested in adding Satin to your herd I have 2 Star studs that are Satin, 1 het, 1 hom, if you'd like straws from them.

    He's a Black Sabino Rabicano, carries het Pearl, Satin, Pangere, Rabicano, Sabino 2 and KP, hom for Flaxen and Sooty

    If his parents did have satin, you would be able to add both alleles for one GMT each. GMing lined horses is just one token per allele, whatever the gene is. :)
