What possesses me to name my poor horses things like this...
I complelty forgot about him until just now when I was about to move some horses.
I've got several horses with silly names. Now show me your favorite odd horse name----

I mean, the name does sound like a horse who likes to scrape riders off on trail rides...

Poor thing has bit, tire down and a figure 8 to keep his mouth shut. -
That's a martingale not a tie down, and I presume the flash noseband is to give them more breaks as horses tend to get excited cross country, it doesn't even look tight, and there is nothing wrong with a bit as long as it isn't harshly used or one of the few evil ones.
As for silly names I have this guy that fits along the same names theme as your ice boy.

I love people's creative names! I have quite a few strange ones but I named this guy yesterday and I thought his name was fitting.
