I discovered I got a brindle baby this season but sadly didnt pass testing and likely going to auction her but was still a fun surprise!

aww, don't send her to auction. That's the first brindle nacre I've heard of so far. She ought to get to live to grow up just for the novelty.

edit: search shows 13 brindle nacre horses. I imagine at least a few of them were brindle before they had nacre added? Some are 3 and 4 years old.

@puissance if you uncheck the foundation box you will get lined bred horses only in ypur search ;)

lol! I know how to use that and it completely failed to occur to me that that might distinguish which were GMTd nacre and which had been born since.

Any hints as to why some horses have nacre in their color name and others don't?

That could be. It's not a het vs hom thing, and it's not a GMT vs bred thing, neither of those fit the horses that came up in my search for brindle nacre. And not a phenotype vs genotype like the bay/brown horses, either.
