Got this mare... Hom. Splash and Frame, and liver chestnut! Then she tests 4.8 and inconsistent. I'm about as disappointed as Doris right now.

I shouldn't laugh but this happens to me a lot! So excited when you do the genetic test - instant deflate when you check performance. =))

Eh, if she passed BA (or SBA in my herd), I dont care if she's got a low PT or is inconsistent. I will still use a mare like that to get the genes I want, keeping her better foals. In fact, I dont even PT a lot of the foundation broodmares. :))

@Haltanny oh I definitely plan on using her! She can hang out in the pasture and not be a show horse.
