DP in Pearl?

I think I've got the hang of DP in chestnuts and bays, but pearl stumps me. I just bought this girl and realized her sire is het DP liver. What do I look for to determine DP in buckskin pearl (or other pearls)?

Maybe an all over darker color? Here is my homozygous pearl. He has two copies of sty, and one do, and is a few shades darker I think.

And by searching ARoF I found some more like this. She has one cream, one pearl.
