  • In just two weeks Ocala, FL will be my stomping grounds for a whole weekend.. and I will be in Thoroughbred heaven! :x OTTBs showing of their new careers is such a fantastic way to spend a weekend! Anyone else going to the Florida Thoroughbred Transformation Expo? If so look for HART and come say hi. :)

  • imageSo I'm finally in Ocala! We have four horses competing at the Expo. Tomorrow is dressage and cross country. The HART trailer is the organization I volunteer with. :) Her name is Reign a.k.a Reign it in, and she is a retired TB who will be competing in Dressage and Cross Country :)
  • This is not far from me. It might be something fun to do with the family this weekend. Everyone loves watching horses. I grew up in California. I remember the first time my grand parents took me to Santa Anita. I was just in pure heaven. I would start by watching the horses being led out and the jockeys mounting up and then would run as fast as I could to get into the middle of the track before the race started. It's just one of those things you never forget.

  • So, update! 2 of our 4 horses made it into the finals for Dressage and Cross Country! We are so elated!! They did not get to do Jumpers as one of our riders had standardized tests to take at school before hand.
