I understand that there are some people that arn't feeling the new daily herd helper post right now. I also found the individual posts easier to use. The forum has to be functional though and the forum was simply not functional when it was being flooded with herd helpers. Thank you for understanding that change is impossible to avoid as we continue to grow.

I am going to start by sayingI don’t know coding at all but might it help the load time if herd helper post automatically deleted after a couple days

There is zero load time. The posts appear instantly. You may need to click the post to see the new replies but they post instantly.

Sorry - I have just written about this on the discussion page - I understand and I am glad you understand it is more awkward to use but I guessed it was something to do with the number of HHs and probably unavoidable.

I will keep playing with it to see if I can get the post info to update more seamlessly, but I did not write the forum and it is a very tricky bit of kit. It has a lot of moving parts so also trying not to break anything as I go.

I myself am loving the new change. So much quicker to browse through the forum if I haven't been on in a couple of days.

I'll chime in from the other camp, I exclusively play on a phone and the new HH threads are great. I can just start at the top, scroll through, and open everything I want to try in the background.

Literally half the clicking because I used to need to click into the thread individually, then the links.

I find the new set-up much easier to browse and use. The added level of daily organization is really helpful to me.

I don't mind having it all in one single thread - but I do think it is making it even harder to catch the Specials when they do come up.

My only issue, and its a very minor one, is that it opens on the first (oldest) page first, and I prefer to start at the newest end and work back.

I am actually getting to like the new system. It loads faster and is easier to find certain helpers.

I'd love if the HH thread showed newest first, but otherwise I like the new system.
