This horse for instance, he definitely had a picture before. He is in quite a few of my horses pedigrees and now there is just a black box. How can I refresh his image to bring it back?

I had one of my horses do that and just refreshed their image :)

I refreshed and did everything I usually do, but glad it's back now anyway!

I refreshed his image my self. They just need refreshed. The others won't show up. You will have to report the issue as a bug, but it may be ages before we have time to put in a fix for it.
