Wondering what genes could get me to looking like her

I imagine tobiano or maybe some sort of sabino would be involved. She's Bay pinto but greying out. I'd rather not have a grey though - it breaks my heart her color will fade!

Let me know what you've got or please point me in the right direction! I'm thinking maybe even a liver would get pretty close to her color...

Is she actually a grey carrier or is her coat just changing colour as she ages? Is she a purebred paint with papers?

She looks like a Tovero to me. Tobiano with Overo.

I can sell her to u. She is a favorite of mine. But she is sooo close to your girl! Its the frame causing the Tobiano to look like that. Now this girl is Chestnut. Not bay.

Yes I see that she is and my filly was born Chestnut! Then her hock and forelock darkened so we are thinking Bay. Either way the markings are uncanny!

Your filly probably is a real life liver if she was born chestnut. I owned a liver mare when I was younger. She had large black streaks through her mane and tail. Unfortunately all of her photos are stuck on a hard drive and I cant access them.

She is up. Remember. There is a risk of dead foal when you breed frame to frame. As hom frame is lethal. Also be aware her white factor is extensive. So she can also give a dead foal if the studs Whitefactor over loads her own!

All white genes have the potential for a lethal foal if the Whitefactor is maxed out. Watch the Whitefactor. There is a helpful links feed with alot of the information you are inquiring about. Ill try to find it.

I don't think frame and tobiano interact, from what I've seen.

and DP also gives some nice dapples, or has a chance to. :)

She is a real cutie patootie! I don't have anything, so I did the same as RoseFlute. I searched for livers, and tobiano + w2 or w3. These are not mine, but it gives you an idea of what that base and pattern can give.

Frame could be helping that first one. I often think of frame as a booster - by itself it is meh, pair it with something else and instant snazz. On a horses page near the bottom there is a heading that says share this horse. There are two boxes with URLs, one for the forum on for Facebook. Just copy and paste the forum one.

What color is her mom and dad? In the second picture, I could see her being a chestnut, even with that darker mane and tail.

Her dad is undeniably a chestnut pinto. Her mom was born bay, greyed out to white now.

She was born with bright orange markings and bright orange in her tail and forelock, its gotten darker as she has started to change color. I need to get a current picture without the instagram filter on it lol.
