naughty horse :(

almost everyday Ive logged in , I get a message saying one of my stallions has misbehaved, caused damage and I lose some hb's to repair it. my question is, it just seems to be the one horse, is he bored? does he need to go to the pasture?
-
Have you removed the notification? Are you sure it's not just the same notification because unless you delete the notification it'll stay there. Otherwise if it is just the same stallion getting hurt repeatedly then it's just bad luck, there is nothing you can do to stop damaged.21170

yea its different notifications, cuz the hb amounts differ... yea he isnt getting hurt, he is just misbehaving and causing damage, ( which I then have to pay for lol) .. so far he has cost me more than he has made in shows... LOL
-
Which one is it? It might be very inconsistent and it'd probably be best if you sold it back to game. If it's only causing like, 1 to 5hbs, in damage each time then you don't need to worry about it :)#4519

I had a little nose, is it this one?
Fergus Moon
I honestly would just sell him back to game as that is a massive amount of money to loose. He's probably going to cost you more in money keeping him than in money he'd ever earn.#4519Thanked by 1LostJoy -
A long time ago before we had all the testing we do now damages were introduced to show low quality horses. Some would get triple digits each time and a few players bred them to see just how bad a horse they could breed even tho it cost hundreds or thousands each time they logged in.
With the testing now adays most of the really bad horses have been culled out and you’ll rarely see triple digit damages. As long as it’s under 10 per time I ignore it. If it’s over 10 I look at the horse and see if he/she is earning its keep by adding to my show bonus. If it’s an older horse without a lot of points I may cull it if it’s happening often.Breeding even generation Grullos with Ice -
How do you find the damages?

Click on the pic and then select the Records tab

Thanks Bourbon and Bandit :) Ill think about it, since so far he is my highest pt horse I got... true, only been in game less than week, but I like his markings and stuff , yea he lost 129hb in damages.. but will see how it goes..

If you do decide to get rid of him, I could provide an alternative to selling him back to the game. I breed duns and my barn can take the damages. All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.Thanked by 1LostJoy

Bay dun roan isn’t overly rare I would personally cull with that damage amount and look for another to replace him. There’s one in the Foundation rescue (ID# 13) that only has small damages for sale for 2750. They pick up perfect foundation quality I believe so you know it’s quality is good. Also it’s older so has been training longer and once it starts showing regularly will pick up points faster than a 3 year old and if he does do damage it won’t hurt the bank as bad as if Ferguson Moon does another damage amount like he already has.

I thought inconsistency had nothing to do with damages?BlueJumpingBean 28718
