    I did it! Woo! I've finally got my own foundation KP mare! :D

    The stallion I will pair her with most often is bay, so all of their foals will be guaranteed buckskins. Do you think I should GMT off one of her creams to throw in a little more variety in the foals?

    The choice to remove one of her cream alleles is entirely up to you. If you're looking for a line that has lots of cream and homozygous cream horses in it, then leave her CcrCcr. That way all her foals will be at least heterozygous cream. If you want a line with lots of variety, including non-cream horses, then removing one Ccr would be the way to go.

    Sandy is right, that choice is completely up to you. However, if she was mine I would take one off. I like more variety in my foals and I like the contrast of the KP on dark horses.
