    I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong while trying to adopt. I've tried three different times, it hasn't worked. Does it take a lengthy amount of time? Am I doing something wrong?

    I think you're posting on the forum when you mean to send a Private Message. Go up to the blue/green line where it says Discussions Activity Inbox etc. and click on Inbox. Then click on the gray button that says Start a New Conversation. That will open the private message box. Put AvailableToAdopt (no spaces) in the top line, and your request in the box and hit send!
