Yay! Im glad these horses can help people. I know when I was new, it really went a long way having experienced players to talk to. Everyone was really generous with their advice and horses

Probably, but a year old account could still be finding their way around, or it could be well established.

Do you feel you would benefit a bit of steering to help efficiency and developing your breeding/show lines?

Show lines? Absolutely. I definitely have a breeding plan and goals. *But* I'm absolutely sure I have more to learn, as I refused to use the forums or get any help for most of the year I've been here. (What can I say, I'm stubborn). HH made me wander over here, and I learn something here nearly daily.

That said, I completely understand if I'm past the "new" date.

It's going OK. I'm beyond starvation mode, where I was running out of money every day. Wondering about how to keep the farm manageable.
My strategy of buying/making just yearlings has faltered, as I am doing as many futurity colts as I can, I need mares for that.
I sort of understand how discord works, and I'm looking forward to when the pastures open to see if I can breed anything worth keeping this season

Being adopted has been super great! I've already increased my daily payout from 6,000 to 11,000 hbs! (Thanks to a lot of donated horses in addition to the advice... must give credit where it is due!)

Also thanks to the mentoring, I finally have a clear strategy for how to build up my account, in a way that I can keep track of what my next steps are!

BoredCowgirl is the best!

I feel like we should have some sort of a competition between the mentee/mentor teams to see who is the best mentor (it's BoredCowgirl! :)) ). Does anyone have any ideas?
