Is he the only one?

Didn't really know where to put this but i do need some help. I absolutely love his coat and wanted to find some mares for him of a similar colour, at least dun. But when i looked through sales or the auction, i could not find a single one. So i changed the search, to just find any horse that looked like him and still couldn't. Is this stallion the only one of his colour?

I found some but they are more red.

I feel like my lions on the mountain RS looked very similar. She had a copy of grey in her but I didn't want her to grey out so I removed it. She did change in color after I removed it. I should have probably added grey reduction to her to maintain that color longer. I'll add her link so you can look for similar genetics and maybe find what your looking for, just getting to it from a different angle.

Inspecting him further i can see grey dappling on his flank and grey starting near his ear :) -

What you want is a very very dark brown base with D and nd1. Gray makes horses very dark but sooty and DP can do it instead. D and nd1 both have variable expressions so roll for new seeds until you get the look you want. Things like appy, silver, p+, and mushroom can also a nice impact on the tone depending on what you are going for.
