I haven’t the faintest idea how to verify/link to this one for further action, but I rolled all my free herd helper rerolls today and it only increased the roll counter by one. I started with “2 rolls so far” and it was only on the very last roll attempt that it finally said “3 rolls so far”.
Out of curiosity I paid for two more additional rolls and it seemed like those increased the counter just fine, so as of right now it says 5 rolls so far.

Did some updates on the Create a Horse page regarding rerolling herd helpers. There was an exploit where you could activate your herd helper from a second device and keep your reroll count. Also logging out or changing devices could erase your reroll count. You could also bank free rerolls to notch up your upgrade count. All of these have been patched. Your reroll counter is now tied to your account and is only reset when you activate a herd helper. It will stay forever if you do not activate anything. Free rerolls no longer add to your reroll counter. While I was in there I also allowed you to get your free rerolls even if you don't have the cash to pay for full-price rerolls.

Ah, thanks! That makes sense. The term "rolls so far" sounds a little less intuitive now that free ones don't count towards it, maybe that's due for a terminology/wording update later down the line? Either way, thanks for the clarification. :)
