Am I Happy Enough With This Guy?
-
After coming back from some time off, I found that due to having a basic upgrade account I had accumulated a fairly large amount of hbs.
After doing some looking I then saw that Splash M (Which I have always wanted, its my favourite haha) was being offered in the GMT lab & decided to go for it & get my first closed gene.
Hence here is my new GMT boy, I adore him honestly he's so lovely & carries four of the genes that I breed for: Hom Splash M, Hom Pearl, Het Roan, Het DP & he is Hom silver which is an awesome bonus.
1g Heartbreak Prince
I can't afford anything else right now (per say, I could If i did some selling off etc) & I accidently already bred him, although I would be willing to sell all foals back to game. I am just second guessing if I am happy with him, mainly because ever since I started playing in 2017 (Wow it's been a long time!) I have always bred for both snowflake & KP, which are still in my top 5 among Splash M, Prl & Satin & I have always wanted to branch into axiom but that's a bit unrealistic for me. Basically he just feels plain to me? even though he isn't.
I am just not quite sure what to do, i'm just having a big internal vent/struggle which is always fun...
Anyway, if you made it this far, thanks for reading haha!

He's beautiful. I'd leave him as is. Sometimes, less is more :)

I go through this… I recently made a new stud, Plutus that has a LOT of newer closed genes… but he does not have hom snf/kp/satin. It can take 2-4 generations to work in a gene you really like but I ended up telling myself that’s fine. I’ve now got so many hom snf/kp/satin (which was my goal), that I can now safely introduce newer gene combos to the base.
Long winded, but I agree with DevilsParadise !ID# 24891

@DevilsParadise & @RubyJoFarm thanks so much for that. I think I will leave him & see what I can produce from him within 2-4 generations.
Thankyou both!Thanked by 1DevilsParadise
