Somehow (and I'm still not sure how this happened) I have become a trainer at my workplace. And not just a trainer, but a trainer of trainers, and a State-Certified Master Examiner (M.E.)
Today for the first time I completed what will become my most common duty as a M.E. - administering an annual recertification assessment for another examiner. The examiner applying for recertification was not only another M.E. but also my boss.
I have pretty severe performance anxiety and insecurity about my own abilities (did I mention that I'm still not sure how I got here? LOL), so today's Take Courage create reminded me that I can do this. I am good at my job. And this is nothing in the grand scheme of life. Next year, nobody will remember or care if I made errors today.
So I took courage and a couple of deep breaths, and both of us successfully completed his recertification assessment.
