Auction bidder question?

    Hello! At todays auction I noticed the Haj auction bidder having higher amounts than 2500- into the high 3000s. I haven’t seen this before (I’m a newbie) and I was wondering why this is? I thought all auctions started at 2500 through the haj bidder.

    When asking a question about specific horses it is always helpful to link the specific horse. Probably these are older horses being sold at the lifetime payout amount.

    Oh it was a couple that I saw, I’ll grab the links! I didn’t know they would sell at lifetime payout amount, that’s probably the reason. I just hadn’t seen it before so I was curious.

    Here are a couple I noticed- you’re right, they are in the older side. I was specifically looking at the older ones cause I feel bad when they’re in auction. Yes I know they’re just pixels, haha it’s not logical. I guess I just didn’t happen to come across any being sold at lifetime payout before

    Someone JUST explained that to me; they sell at lifetime payout (if over 2500) at age 10

    Ha I accidentally bid in a horse who was 13, and had high points. I saw that there was no bids and bid without looking at the amount, and then noticed that I bid 13k! I won lol

    Oh wow, I definitely haven’t seen any that high yet! I had no clue they sold for lifetime payout, that’s actually kind of awesome. I’ll probably keep bidding on some of the oldies to throw in my show herd and let them live their lives out in my barns. I hope I get to grab a couple, I always fall asleep toward the end of the auction and miss out on the ponies- thanks narcolepsy
