Terrible luck or doing something wrong?

Am I missing something with the Sea Ponies?
I’ve created I think 6 so far, and they happened fairly easily. Since my last one, I’ve created 80+ pons (including 60 just today) and haven’t gotten any! I know it says 1 in 30 chance. So do I just have bad luck, or am I doing something wrong? Are some horse types more likely to make seas ponies?
How many creates are the people making that have gotten 100+ sea ponies?
I have my first GMT stud project who only needs one more gene to be complete, but I need 3 more GMTs to get there. Hoping I can make it happen before the end of the month!
Thanks in advance for any help in understanding and giving me a better shot at finishing my boy. -
Post a horse for 375k and I'll buy it. I have bad luck at making them too lol

About 30 for every single one they have gotten. The reality is they have the resources to make way more horses than you. :) Some members have made thousands of horses.Need to contact me? Yes my main account was making 250 ponies/day and would get sometimes 4 or 5 per day and sometimes 15 but it all worked out as about 1 in 30! :) I made a lot of horses I then just put in auction!Breeding Snowflakes. Dinascar's alt account ID 17081Thanked by 1ObsidianKitsune

Thanks everyone! Dinascar, your info was really helpful, that was what I was wondering. Because I know it’s a 1 in 30 chance by design, but it sounds like that doesn’t guarantee 1 per every 30 you make it’s just the overall average for the game.
I tend to have bad luck with chance games in general (no lottery for me!) so I figured that was the case but I was just curious lol. It threw me off because my first 6 were almost perfectly 1 for every 30. Ammit, thanks for the info - I can’t imagine making THOUSANDS of horses!
