I am crying now

    I don't know who, but someone in this game just made me break down in tears. Yesterday I got the call that one of my good friends and former coworkers had passed away because of an illness. I spent most of yesterday in shock, and tried to work through things by SS planning, but that got me thinking about making a memorial horse. Today, I was going through some horses to make notes when I saw a horse that had Thunderstruck but was in a breeding barn instead of a show barn. I don't have Thunderstruck, so I went to figure out what was wrong.

    Someone put Thunderstruck on one of my foals. I'm in the lowest level of SS so I didn't expect my SS to get me any closed genes, especially expensive ones, but someone gave it to me. But the reason I'm crying is because my friend adored thunder storms. They were his favorite things in this world; we used to just stand in the parking lot after work and listen to the thunder from passing storms.

    So whoever you are, thank you. You thought you were giving me a gene, but you gave me a small piece of a friend I miss dearly. I can never repay you for that.

    My friend loves Tornados and he has Chronic Pancreatitis. I'm afraid to lose him now. But please don't cut onions around me, I won't stop crying.
