    I keep seeing the term bootstrap and I'm not familiar with it. Can anyone explain what a bootstrap horse is? :-?

    Bootstrapping is when you breed a high-papered horse, usually a star or gold, to a horse with much lower papers. Most bootstraps are unevenly bred and won't pass breeding advice, especially on the first high papered to low cross, but after breeding back to high papers for a few generations you can get boots with high PT and papers who do pass. :)
