I want to buy one of the Phantom genes for someone... I have the foundation horse I want it on. I've had the horse a while trying to put open RGS genes on him, but that hasn't worked out. At that rate, I only have the spiders and bats license... I want to add something like Tobiano or splash to this horse before the horse is sent... is there a way to add a phantom gene (If they don't have it), and me still give them the horse without it having to be gelded? If that's how it's gotta be done, I'll just add one they do have the license for...
Just genuinely curious.

If you are buying for someone else you need to add it to a horse they already own to get a license for them.

I suppose I could try adding the tobiano (or splash) first (if I can afford to), and then add the phantom after they buy it.

I was gonna ask if they'd last until the next RGS rotation, rather than leaving on the 31st, and then realized... the 31st IS the last day. #-o :))
