This might seem like an odd one for sunrise (could easily be seen as sunset too but I think thats perspective for you) but the way the S+ lights up her belly always made me think of the sun rising over the mountains slowly dissipating the dark of night that is the rest of her body. She's in auction but if you would like her I'd be glad to pull her for you.

I know how you feel, i am such an introvert and don't social well with others :)) when i feel down/depressed, i tend to listen to music all day from Katy perry,Bebe rexha,Ava max, Aviva, K pop, and other genres every now and then or i watch anime :) my favorite anime movies are Mary and the witch's flower,spirited away,Big Fish & begonia, My neighbor totoro, and a lot of others that aren't gonna fit this list :))


This guy that i got a week or two ago looks like a sunrise to me so.....that's how he got his name :D :x just before the sun starts to show, it's purple/blue/lightly pink outside :x i always go out during that time before feeding my RL horse.

He's not bright, or colorful, but by sheer will he made it through the dark to the promise of a new day. I know the dark place is hungry, it's called my name so loud this past year. I pray you find your sunrise.

This guy might seem like kind of an odd choice for "sunrise", but the shading on his flank just above the splash marking reminds me of the very first glow along the horizon in the morning, and his rabicano spots make the rest of his coat into a starry sky.

Cold Snap isn't really sunrise-y at all, but he's crystalline and sparkly and pretty and looking at him makes me happy - I hope he does the same for you!

Before I say anything else, I just want to say...you guys are all amazing. I felt like crap all night, but I woke up to the most amazing sunrises this morning; I actually broke down and cried because I wasn't sure if anyone would respond, but you all did. And it seems like every time I start to feel bad again I'd get a new comment on here and have more pretty ponies to look at. After that, there was no way I couldn't respond. But I feel I need to state, though I'm not sure how to say it without it coming across as rude through text, I'm not asking for horses. I didn't want anyone to feel obligated to offer me a horse, though I am extremely grateful for all the gorgeous ponies that have been offered. Equally, I know that the players of this game are known for their generosity and I know I feel bad when I offer a gift and someone says no, so compromise? If it feels important for you to offer a horse, PM me with the horse and the chat room you want to post them in, and I'll gladly take them. Sorry if that sounds rude, I'm just...having a hard time believing that I would be offered anything because someone cares and not because of obligation. Doesn't usually work that way for me.

@CeffylDwr, she is absolutely gorgeous. I've never really cared for Sooty+, but seeing her first thing gave me chills. I actually live in the mountains and have seen that sort of glow many mornings. As cliche as it is...she felt like home. But please, don't feel the need to pull her. I'll bid on her tomorrow when the auction starts.
@FlyingPheasantFarm, he's so cute! The sunflowers were the perfect background choice for him. I'll have to see if I have any silver bays to breed to an onyx stud to try and get one like him.
@IndianaRanch, when I first saw her I thought of the tulip fields in the Netherlands, so I definitely agree about the flower feeling. My watercolors don't ever seem to come out that vibrant; any suggestions?
@JustaSaddletramp, ...is it sad that my first reaction to your first comment is, 'No there isn't'? My cat died a few months ago, I have nothing to do with most of my family, and I royally fucked up my only friendship. But...thank you for the words. I actually had to smile when you listed some of the songs you like to listen to. I'm not sure I could ever be upset if I was singing to the Backstreet Boys. I'll have to try that someday. And your pony is absolutely stunning. I can definitely see what you meant about a dawn over open waters. As I said above, I wasn't asking for horses, but I'll leave it up to you if you want to sell her.
@Riverstone18, I don't know much K-pop; never got into it. Could you recommend any good bands? And your little man is so cute. I love his pink socks.
@GallifreyanAngel, can I just start with how much I love your name? My friend got me into Doctor Who and it's always fun to find other fans in places I wouldn't expect. And those foals are just the cutest. I'm noticing a definite theme of watercolor horses on this thread; guess I need to start working on my own line. Like I said above, if you do want to sell them I will gladly take them, but I don't feel like I should be asking for anything other than ideas. Thank you for the offer either way.
@Seaswell, I have to admit, I was not expecting a black horse on this thread, but you're absolutely right. He came through his night. I just about started crying again at your description; that's exactly what I'm struggling to do. So...I just gotta pretend I'm a draft, right? Just keep going and eventually I'll get through.
@MariaChapinFarm3, I had actually seen this young colt on a different thread and thought he looked quite handsome. His name sums him up very well. Have to admit, I never thought about the northern lights surrounding anything, but...they really do, don't they? That sounds so amazing. Just being wrapped in light...wonder how that would feel. Anyway, thank you for the offer and for the PM. They both mean a lot to me.
@BorderCollie, I have to admit, the first horse surprised me, but you're right; his flank looks like a mountain dawn. That was always my favorite time up there. When the air is still cold and the stars are still shining but the horizon is glowing and you know the darkness won't last much longer. Like...you're holding your breath for the glory you know is coming. And it's all the more glorious because you had to wait. And Cold Snap made me laugh. He reminds me of Christmas morning, when the windows are frosted and the dawn light is just starting to creep in, edging everything in gold. He's wonderful; thank you for sharing his image with me.
@GeneverGinger, she's beautiful. I have several het axioms and nexus and never really looked twice at them, but yours has a soft, gentle quality to her that I don't see much, and it was lovely to finally find. Thank you for sharing her with me.
@Spectrum, wow, you really have a corner on the market of sunrise horses, don't you? I seriously need to up my watercolor game to ever have a dream of horses like these. Thank you for sharing them with me; they were all so lovely that I could have gladly looked at them for hours. Especially the last one. He feels like love and his name made me cry.
@FallenShadows714, he is gorgeous and I can see what you mean. He has a warm and fuzzy feeling about him. As I said above, I was not requesting horses, but if you really want me to have him, I will gladly take him.

If there weren't, nobody would have replied to you. <3 We're all people who care enough to try to help, even if only by offering a tiny bright spot for your morning. I was sincere in my offer of a horse and I think many others were too, not out of obligation but because we want to help brighten your day and your herd. :x <br />

I know what it's like to feel like you're alone, possibly better than anyone. I have millions of allergies it seems like some days, not to things like ragweed but to perfume and lysol and bleach and fragrances that are used in detergents, and leaving my home often leads to a week of regretting it. I've been fighting a lingering case of pneumonia all summer because of it, and at this point I'm living my life on a leash (oxygen) and I see two people: my brother, who checks on me often in person or on my phone, and a visiting nurse once a week who sees me first thing and then puts on her perfume and makeup (Yes, even that was setting off an allergy attack. Lol) after she sees me. Otherwise it's just me and the dogs and my friends here. The dogs don't talk much, so this game is my social life. :\">

The filly is yours if you want her, but no obligation to take her was intended. She's just standing around in my barns looking pretty and bringing in a few show points. I have far too many horses to use them all! Up to you, though. :)

Try and be compassionate and kind with your self at these times. *hug* I wish you all the best for your healing and hope you find your joy again.
