HA! Yes. I set up two lovely ponies, each hom PATN1, het Llp. The sire was het Sty, hom DP. The dam was het sooty, het DP. I was hoping the foal would have a good chance of being a liver Appaloosa with hom PATN1.

The foal came out chestnut (het sooty het DP) with NO Llp. I about cried :)) that 25% chance can really mess us over, can’t it?

Both were spelded and thrown in my show barn due to their higher PT, but, really? Come on guys....

Yep I got one.
Dam looks plain but is Sb1 and Frame. Filly got Sb2, Sooty, and 1 DP from Sire. She got one copy of Sooty from her Dam and bay base. And I've gotten Loud Leopards from solid mares.

Glad I'm not the only one! :)) I feel like the ones without Sooty or pangere are the biggest disappointments, because there's just nothing to em at that point :))
