need help with weird marking on real horse

    Ok so I have this yearling that I am training for a friend she has this really weird marking and I wanted to see if anyone could help me out on what it is.
    So her dam was a blue roan (don’t know het or hom since she wasn’t color tested) and her sire was a black tobiano (don’t know het or hom because I don’t have the name of the sire)
    I’m thinking it might be a somatic mutation because she doesn’t look like a blue roan anywhere else. Also her mother has that same marking.

    That looks like incomplete patterning- tobiano often has roany/patchy areas where the white tries to manifest but doesn't completely come through. I can't remember the exact name of it but I am sure someone else can chime in!

    I think those roaning patches are what kit promoter is based on in game, but I'm not sure. I also dont think inheritance works like KP in real life.
