I was going through buying foals with points as Show ponies. I bought this girl and was pretty happy about the amount of points she already had. Then I pt tested her.... I guess I’ll go with option 2 and use her as a brood mare?

Well that didnt work

Anybody else have to change plans with horses they’ve purchased?

Ouch! Yes, I have had a number of times where I have purchased colts that didn’t match where I wanted them...so they either became mares or expensive show horses! Good luck with using her as a broodmare, hopefully she’s a better mom than show horse

Hahah yah her consistentsy and points really help; and luckily she fits my criteria for foundation mares.
