I hate trying to pick my next generation stallion, but now I have to decided between having a stallion with homozygous kp or a stallion with hetrozygous mushroom. I suppose I could use them all but I really need to get my stallion number down. If only mushroom could be added on in the GMT lab Kiss Kiss Bang Bang would be my ultimate pick.

Well, you could always add then KP back onto Captain Jack, and it would make him hom KP and het mushroom. I think he would still be my ultimate pick, since he likely picked up one of the copies of KP from either his sire or dam.

Personally? I always default on the closed gene. And you can always ask other people to breed in more KP. But I agree with adding KP back on too. But besides that do any test better than others?

They all test as good as each other. I might just breed Captain Jack until something I like comes along, I have so many horses coming of age that I will eventually get something I like better without genetically modifying them as silence in the library is still young.
