    She turns 17 next month and I'm doubtful that shell make it to 18 so I was really excited to get her bred... guess what? I messed up!

    Awww thats a bummer :( i've had that happen to me 2 months ago...and i lost one of my favorite mare's and never got to have a foal out of her since I picked the wrong stud and the foal was lethal.

    I've done that twice with the same mare and twice on older mares about to age out. Definitely a bummer.
