    "would make a better show horse than a breeder" has nothing to do with PT score at all; it's said any time any horse fails BA/SBA regardless of what their PT score is.

    It means that her breeding score is considerably worse than her parents breeding scores. For foundation horses, it means that their breeding score is considerably worse than a predetermined benchmark that all foundation horses are compared against. PT isn't considered at all during BA/SBA.

    Also please don’t delete the comments. Other people reading them can still learn from the thread but when only a portion of the thread is still available it’s confusing to understand what others are trying to correct
